About The Man In The Apron

FAMILY MAN, PRIVATE CHEF, AND HOSPITALITY EXPERT ON A MISSION TO SHARE MY PASSION

Your Chef

Let me invite you to learn a bit more about me.

Hi, I’m Max Noel, and I’m a Quebec-based private chef blessed to work and live doing what I love the most: cooking.

Before pursuing my dream of starting my own business, I worked in the hospitality industry in seemingly every role: from Dishwasher in a neighbourhood breakfast place, to Restaurant Manager at a Forbes Five Star hotel, to Grillardin-Saucier regularly serving the Montreal Canadiens at their private golf club.

Every role taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of hard work, perserverance, empathy, and—most importantly—connecting with people.

Family has always been my number one priority.

And while I was working as a hospitality professional, my lifestyle didn’t reflect that priority—and that didn’t work for me.

I was working long hours, trading quality meals at home for fast food in my car, and constantly feeling the effects of not nurturing my body the way it deserved to be.

Balance is the key ingredient to a happy life, which is exactly what I hope to provide you by taking over your meal prep - so you can get back to focusing on what really matters.

  • Hospitality.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in awe of how my grandma effortlessly serves her community. Whether you’re her own flesh and blood or a stranger on the street, she’ll treat you the exact same: she’ll offer you a bite to eat, then the shirt off her back.

She’s the reason I became so fascinated with food, and the reason I cherish the art of kind, genuine hospitality.

  • Quality.

Quality starts with where you source your products—and here in Quebec, we have an amazing selection of fresh, local ingredients to choose from.

As your personal chef, I’ll ensure that all of your meals are crafted with the best quality ingredients, and the best quality care, because I’m determined to elevate your eating habits.

    Quality.
  • Simplicity.

For me, so much of life in the Laurentides revolves around simplicity, whether it be taking a deep breath at the top of a mountain in Val David, or picking wild raspberries on a walk with my son.

In providing my clients with custom, done-for-you meal preparation, my goal is to help them spend less time stressing in the kitchen and more time enjoying life.

PASSION MEETS PURPOSE

Growing up, my family always cooked as if they were celebrating the ingredients, whether it was Christmas Eve or just a random summer evening. I couldn’t be more thankful for my upbringing teaching me how to respect and get inspired by each ingredient, because now, I get to share that passion with you.
